Date:Friday, November 27 - 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Facilitator: Wangari Tharao, Program and Research Manager, Women's Health in Women's Hands CHC
Description:Knowledge transfer and exchange (KTE) helps bridge the gap between those who generate knowledge and those who utilize it to inform policy and practice. It's an iterative process involving the exchange of knowledge between research producers and users. The primary purposes of KTE are to increase the chances of research evidence being used in policy and practice decisions and to enable researchers to identify relevant policy and practice-based research questions. This webinar will explore a multipronged, integrated and collaborative KTE strategies and processes that are tailored to multiple stakeholders to support utilization of knowledge generated in research to inform programs and services within CHCs.
